Supportive Therapy

Supportive therapy for brain injury survivors- Traumatic brain injuries are complicated and needs vary among individuals. Survivors may struggle with memory loss, anger, despair, impulsivity, personality changes, and a range of other mental health symptoms that can be supported non-judgmental listening, emotional support, and personalized coping tools.

The cause for depression can vary among each individual, and may include stressful life changes/transitions, traumatic events, prolonged loss, hormonal imbalance, and genetic/hereditary factors; symptoms may be social isolation, feelings of overwhelming hopelessness, major sleep disturbances/insomnia, physical ailments (headaches, muscle tension, cramping, digestive issues).
